What data we collect and why
Email address (account)
Used to secure your account and enable password reset. Lawful basis: contract performance.
Email address (newsletter)
If you check "send me updates" during signup, we'll email you when new features drop. Lawful basis: your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@jenbuiltit.com.
What we do not do
We do not sell your email address or any other personal information.
We do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data.
Export: sign in and tap "Download my data" below to get a JSON file with every bill, payment, monthly amount, and setting on your account.
Delete: sign in and tap "Delete account" in the sidebar. You'll be asked for your current password (or hub re-verification for App-Hub-linked accounts) before everything is permanently wiped.
Side Hustle Garden is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@jenbuiltit.com and we will delete it.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (California / CCPA)
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing — none of which we do. To exercise any CCPA right, email privacy@jenbuiltit.com.
Processors & storage
Your garden data (income, bills, payments) is stored in Cloudflare D1, a hosted SQL database in Cloudflare's US/EU edge network. The application itself runs on Cloudflare Workers. Browser localStorage holds your session token, a "seen welcome screen" flag, and a 1-hour cached Pro status flag — no tracking or advertising cookies.

n8n (self-hosted by Jen Built It LLC) — newsletter signup webhook, only if you opt in
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — newsletter email delivery, only if you opt in
Delete my account
This permanently deletes your account and all data — bills, payments, watering history, settings. We cannot undo this.
Tip: download your data first from the Privacy modal ().
This account signs in through the App Hub. To delete it, return to the App Hub, copy your Pro link again, and re-confirm — we'll prompt for re-verification.

Log your side hustle incomeEvery time you earn from a side hustle, go to Water and log it. The app automatically splits it across your bills — smallest first.

Watch them bloomAs you log income, your bills grow toward full bloom. When one hits 100% it blooms for the month. Your biggest bill is the tallest plant — it blooms last!
Entering past income? Just change the date when logging a payment — it'll file under the right month automatically.
