Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page exists because the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) requires every business website to provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to California residents.
Our short answer: we don't sell or share your information
Side Hustle Garden does not sell your personal information. We do not exchange your data for money, and we do not exchange it for non-monetary "valuable consideration" with anyone.
Side Hustle Garden does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not work with ad networks. We do not allow third parties to use your data to target ads to you on other sites. We do not have a Facebook Pixel, a Google Ads tag, or any other advertising tracker on this site.
We do use a small number of service providers (Cloudflare for hosting and database, Resend for transactional email, Jen's App Hub for Pro entitlement, and our own self-hosted n8n automation server for error alerts and opt-in progress recaps) to operate the product. Under California law, transfers to service providers that act only on our instructions and only for the purposes we direct are not "sale" or "sharing." Each of those providers operates under a data processing agreement that restricts them accordingly.
What about the affiliate links in the app?
Some of the tips and resources inside Side Hustle Garden link to third-party products, and those links are labeled as affiliate links. Following one takes you to that company's own site, where their privacy practices apply. We do not attach your email, your income, your bills, or any other account data to those links, and we do not receive personal information back from those companies about you. An affiliate referral is not a sale or share of your personal information under California law.
If we ever change this
If we ever start selling or sharing personal information as those terms are defined under California law, we will:
- update the privacy policy to disclose it,
- email account holders at least 14 days in advance, and
- provide a functional opt-out mechanism on this page before any sale or share begins.
To make a formal request
If you want a written confirmation that we have not sold or shared your data, or you want to exercise any of your other CCPA/CPRA rights (right to know, right to delete, right to correct, right to limit use of sensitive personal information), email privacy@jenbuiltit.com from the address tied to your account. We will respond within 45 days as California law requires.
You can also do it yourself right now. Sign in and open the Privacy Policy panel to use Download my data, or open Account settings and choose Delete my account to remove everything permanently.
